Copyrights and Uses

  • I reserve the right to turn down a commission if I do not feel confident working on it.

  • I, the artist, retain ALL rights over the work created.

  • My work is for personal and private use ONLY. You do NOT have the right to sell any artwork commissioned from me. This especially applies to minting it as NFT.

  • Personal and private use includes posting the artwork to your social media, using it as profile picture, twitter banner, wallpaper, etc.

  • You may also print physical copies of a commissioned work as long as they are for personal use only.

  • Using an illustration commissioned from me in streaming platforms / youtube videos is O.K. as long as proper credit is given.

  • Emote / Badge Commissions are the only type of commission that may have commercial use* and already have a commercial fee calculated into their price.

  • *Commercial use of emote / badges does not, however, mean that you may resell them. It means you have the right to use them in monetized platforms (such as twitch).

Payment

  • Prices are in USD, and payment is done through PayPal / Stripe.

  • Once the commission is confirmed, I'll be sending the client an invoice through Paypal that should be paid before I can start sketching.

  • If your commission request was put on queue, I will only request payment when I am able to start working on the piece.

  • For commissions exceeding $100, payment may be split in two halves, and in which case I'll be sending an invoice for the first half before starting the sketch, and the second invoice once the commission has been completed and approved by the client.

  • Recurring Clients may request payment of commissions exceeding $100 to be divided further. (up to 4 times)

  • If a commission is canceled for any reason, refund will be issued according to what stage the work is in at the time of cancelation. (e.g. If canceled before sketch is completed, you will receive a full refund)

REVISION

  • You may request up to 2 major changes to the commission during the sketch step.

  • You may also request up to 10 minor changes, at anytime of the commission process.

  • Further changes will result in extra fees depending on the type of change, so please be thorough when describing a pose / composition / providing details of the character design!

  • Any revisions that are an error on my part will not count towards the maximum amount of changes I accept, no matter if they're minor or major. (e.g. If I forget to add a character's tattoos / accessories even though the client provided clear references of them)

  • - major change: complete modification of commmission pose / composition, different character outfit / hairstyle, complete modification of props.

  • - minor change: facial expressions, color fixing, beauty marks / scars, hand positions, small details like piercings / earrings / necklaces.

TURNAROUND and SCHEDULES

  • Commissions may take up to 2~4 weeks to be finished depending on type, complexity and commission queue.

  • I do not work on Sundays, so if you message me about a commission on a Saturday night, be aware that I'll only begin working on it on Monday!

  • I will work on a maximum of 5 commissions at a time (save for occasional exceptions), and after those slots are filled, every new commission request I get will be added to a queue.

  • I'll sketch commissions in the order I receive them, and then bounce between them as I progress*.

  • I will always keep an up to date Google Sheet on commission progress, queue, etc, but the client is free to request WIP screenshots anytime!

  • Commission Status / Progress / Queue can be checked on this Google Sheet!

  • *Bouncing between commissions as I work on them allows me to spot any mistakes I might've made and correct them as I work.

  • (Kinda like how canvas artists notice things they need to improve while waiting for the paint to dry)

references

  • References must be as clean and readable as possible.

  • Try to be as detailed as you can when requesting poses / themes!

  • If you do not specify a pose / theme for the commission, please instead give me a quick intro to your character's personality.

  • Please remember to send me separate references of any props (pets / weapons / etc) you want added in the commission.

  • If you don't have any visual refs of your character, try describing them to me in a "bullet point format" so that it's easier for me to understand and make sure I don't overlook any details!

  • If commissioning multiple characters, make sure to send me their references separately.

  • (FFXIV) Here's a really helpful guide on how to take reference photos of your character!
